梁雅

LC was craving for fish on the weekend..... :-)
and it has been a while since we were back to the
place we alway go for fish.
upon arriving...... the place was packed.
so we decided to try out another place..... 梁雅in puchong
opposite TaiPing Lang 太平人
We ordered a 石班, 清蒸steamed
fresh and nice
and a 上汤苋菜


and a "kam heong la-la"
all in all, quite nice, and the service is not bad.

Kung Fu Bak Kut Teh

Was trying out this shop's Bak Kut Teh on sunday with LC. 功夫肉骨茶
it is opposite Puteri Mart in Bandar Puteri.
Fist thought was, Kung Fu Bak Kut Teh ??
the boss must be some shaolin master :-)
and hei, if you are ever there, have a look on the walls,
there are pictures showing the boss,...... some sort of
kung fu master.
Theres plenty of different versions, but we ordered the normal soup type.
Had a plate of vege 油菜 as well
and we also ordered yam rice 芋头饭
but it was a bit dry.
all in all, it cost us RM 30.

纳豆


To all the 纳豆 fans......

I have recently improvise another way of having 纳豆

Usually would just buy a plain bun "Roti Kosong"
and use 纳豆as filling and made a sandwich out of it.
nice......you should try it sometimes.

Crabs 蟹


After trying to remember this place last time and got lost finding it.
at the end we did not manage to find it anyway.......
we were determine to find it this weekend.
and this time we did !!
it is a corner shop on jalan 3/62B, Bandar Manjalela.
the name of the restaurant is FoodLand Seafood Restaurant
食园海鲜楼
We ordered their signature dish.
and because we just want to "lepas geram", cause it took us so long to find it,
we ordered on plate of crabs with 咸蛋 & one with 奶油

By this reaction........ LC enjoyed it ! :-)

Been doing some searching.........
LC is keen on searching for the still illusive claypot crab and rice !
guess will just have to take a drive along jalan sungai besi
and look for the place.

Sg Besi *小小飯店 * 瓦煲蟹飯
瓦煲蟹飯味道鮮美引人垂涎當瓦煲飯和螃蟹配在一起,會變成甚麼呢?簡單得很,就是瓦煲蟹飯!雖然這間飯店叫做小小飯店,但是其實它一點也不小。而且負責人吳金保所推出瓦煲蟹飯,在隆市更是獨創的。從事飲食業多年的他當年就認為只有獨創的招牌菜,才能夠吸引顧客。於是他就不斷的研究並嘗試,終於讓他想到了瓦煲蟹飯。“我一直在想,瓦煲飯裡面還可以放些甚麼,而後就想到了肉蟹。螃蟹與飯一起焗,屆時螃蟹的鮮味就會融入飯中。”他更說,相信當時推出的時候應該就只有小小飯店一家。更是許多顧客光顧時必點的佳肴之一。每推出特別新菜色城市人用餐,講究的是菜上得要快、菜式選擇要多樣化。而上述這兩點小小都做到了。“除了招牌菜以外,多樣化的選擇讓顧客能在每次前往時嘗試不一樣的菜色。這樣顧客才不會覺得乏味。”吳金保還吩咐廚師每個月都必須推出別出心裁的新菜色,以吸引顧客。“如果顧客的反應好,我們當是新菜上市;如果反應不好,不用說,當然是被淘汰了。”除了今期推荐的佳肴外,老板還推荐,該店的菜園雞和杏香六寶,都是不錯的選擇。“我們所使用的雞皆是我們自己飼養的,有時還會供不應求呢。”至於杏香六寶,則是採用了6樣不同的青菜烹煮出來的。另外,這裡還有許多招牌菜都深受顧客喜愛,如泰國豬手、奶皇生蝦冬粉、炸大腸等等。吳金保也說,總店和分行的菜色基本上皆大同小異。不過兩店也各別推出了一些不一樣的特色小菜,所以不妨要求侍應生介紹吧!
瓦煲蟹飯─45至48令吉(視螃蟹的大小)瓦煲飯和螃蟹配在一起,就是這麼獨特的瓦煲蟹飯了。首先將螃蟹炒香備用,再加上之前已煲好的瓦煲飯一起焗至出味,這樣一來,螃蟹的鮮味都滲入飯中,更加美味。老闆說這道是這裡的招牌菜,前往光顧的客人十之八九都必點它。
脆藕蜜汁蝦將新鮮大明蝦炸至酥脆,爾後再淋上以蜜糖特制蜜汁,即使是用以點綴的蓮藕薄片,也一樣爽脆。為方便顧客食用,廚師已去掉明蝦中間部份的蝦殼。這也是小小新推出的菜色。(48令吉)
蜜汁叉燒以祖傳秘方“燒”出來的的蜜汁叉燒,讓人垂涎欲滴。老板還透露有不少顧客將之打包回家慢慢享用呢。(15令吉)
家鄉花腩煲看似簡單的花腩煲,但煮法卻一點也不簡單。以10種香料加上南乳,煮成香郁的醬汁。然後再加上馬鈴薯及挑選過的花肉,煮成花南煲。15令吉(小)
欖菜芥蘭─15令吉太多大魚大肉,偶爾也必須有些小菜來調合一下。老板將甘欖菜和肉碎一起爆香,然后再將之淋在已過油的芥蘭苗上,清香可口。
